Because I'm at work, I watched Feist's video with the sound off. It's been years since I last watched a music video, and I've come to realize that music videos are ridiculous, especially when you watch them with the sound off.
Something about watching an artist pretend to sing a song that was recorded in a studio bothers me. I felt embarrassed for Feist, like I had caught her singing into the bathroom mirror.
I don't know... maybe I'm just gettting old, but I'd much rather see Christopher Walken dancing around to Moby, than Moby dancing to Moby. Actually, I think I'd just prefer not to see Moby at all.
